Disney's Animal Kingdom is the newest theme park at Walt Disney World and is the largest of all Disney's theme parks in the world. The resort is geared towards animal conservation and is accredited by the Association of Zoos and Aquariums[4].

Since the park is one of the newest, it currently has the fewest attractions and regularly closes at 5 p.m. Additionally, it currently does not have any night fireworks show or evening parades.

[edit] Dedication

Welcome to a kingdom of animals... real, ancient and imagined: a kingdom ruled by lions, dinosaurs and dragons; a kingdom of balance, harmony and survival; a kingdom we enter to share in the wonder, gaze at the beauty, thrill at the drama, and learn. Michael Eisner

[edit] 10th Anniversary

The park celebrated it's 10th anniversary in 2008 (2008) which featured a re-dedication ceremony and a special presentation with Joe Rohde speaking at the Theater in the Wild[5].
