The balloon, named Aéro30, was built and operated[5] by Aérophile S.A. from Paris, France, and is the largest tethered gas balloon.[4] The balloon held 210,000 cubic feet of lighter-than-air gas.[5] The gondola is 19 feet in diameter and guests board in a platform that is located in Village Lake at Downtown Disney. Guests will be able to see over 10 miles away from the balloon on a clear day.[4]
