DINOSAUR is a rough dark ride at Disney's Animal Kingdom featuring animatronic Dinosaurs and a light tie-in to the Dinosaur film. The ride was originally named Countdown To Extinction.
Guests ride in 'Time Rover' at the Dino Institute into the past to find an Iguanodon and bring it back into the present. Guests are sent back close to the time when the large asteroid is about to hit the earth. While attempting to find the dinosaur, guests have a run in with a Carnotaurus that tries to attack the car. Guests barely escape from the giant asteroid and bring back the Iguanodon to the present[1].
